Wicker Park Movie (2004)

Wicker Park Movie (2004)

Along with the loneliness and pang of pain Matthew felt is the search for his long time ex-girlfriend to whom he had excommunicated for couple of years. The agony of pain seeking for an answer of why it ended without any valid reasons made him miserable with each detective act he played searching for the girl he knew he loved and still love. Only to realize that’s somebody’s trying to tear them apart.

This is a remake movie of L’Appartement (1996) a French film. Actually I saw the L’Appartement before Wicker Park. Single ladies would love to fall in love in the name of love if they would watch this Wicker Park Movie. Josh Hartnett portrayed the role perfectly that you would wish you were the girl in the scene and turned it into reality. That’s how I felt while I’m watching the Wicker Park Movie all over again and again! Obsessions and fighting for the love of your life is what’s the Wicker Park Movie is all about.

Hayzz.. the need to fall in love, watch this Wicker Park Movie ladies. I love you Josh Hartnett!  😀

Memento

Memento

This movie Memento sounds crazy to me. I have to watch it twice to get the idea of the movie. It started backwards, then flashbacks which is even crazier without a subtitle embedded.

Memento directed by Christopher Nolan, starred by Guy Pearce as Leonard Shelby the guy who has a short term memory loss and who can’t make new memories; and Joe Pantoliano as  Teddy who was his guide/police/benefactor.

Leonard kept tattooing his body, taking photos from a polaroid camera and taking notes for important facts reminding him of what have become of his life after “the incident”. His wife was raped and somebody hit his head damaging his brain to not function normally and made him have a short term memory loss. I never thought it exists until I read it on wiki, but usually its factor is because of STD, another topic to ponder upon. Anyway, where was I… He can remember his past but after “the incident” he can’t remember anything or cannot make new memories which only made it sad because a lot of people took advantage of his weakness. They do him as a puppet but in the end, he killed the one pulling his strings.

This Memento Movie is something I could not forget easily, it’s a mind-twisting movie. Also reminds me of what’s life is really all about and thanking the Above for giving me a normal fully functional body.

A Perfect Fried Chicken Recipe!

A Perfect Fried Chicken Recipe!

Do you always get a fried chicken look so good and delicious in the outside as the breading looked fluffy and crispy but disappointingly dry and tasteless? It’s always about how to prepare and cook the chicken meat. We had cook fried chicken a lot of times, theories and speculations on how to get the dreamed perfect fried chicken thrown on our conversations until we finally hit the solution.

Our Perfect Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken meat (preferable drumstick, chicken wings, chicken breast)
  • 1  bulb of Garlic
  • 6 tbsp of Oyster sauce
  • 4 tbsp of Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp  of Salt
  • 2 grams of Black pepper
  • Sliced Pineapple
  • Flour
  • Crispy Mix Flour

First, we prepare the chicken meat to marinade only for 30mins. Mix garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper and our secret ingredient, sliced pineapple serves as a meat tenderizer. It opens up the meat and allowing the spices and sauces to be absorbed inside the chicken meat or any other meat. That’s what we get from our research.

After 30mins, put the chicken meat to a drainer in order to dry and then coated with plain flour, then coated with any commercial mix flour (we used Crispy Mix flour).

Frying is a tricky part also. You have to have a kilo of palm or corn oil use to fry the chicken. It is always better to do deep frying when frying a crispy, delicious chicken. When the oil is hot, put the marinated, freshly flour coated chicken into the pan and wait until the chicken color turns to brown, not dark brown or light brown, but the perfect brown. It usually appears after 15-20mins.

And there you have it, the perfect fried chicken I ever tasted in my entire life! It felt like having a fried chicken from heavens. Try it! J

Calmoseptine Ointment

Calmoseptine Ointment

Calmoseptine Ointment can be use in any other minor problems. It soothes itchy skins, people who have an eczema problem. I have also used it one day I accidentally cut my index finger. I washed and dried up the bleeding area. When the bleed stopped, I applied the Calmoseptine Ointment to the wound and cover it with a band-aid to avoid from any harmful factors that could cause it to bleed again. At first, I was in doubt, but eventually it proved me wrong. And I’m so thankful that I knew Calmoseptine Ointment.

Calmoseptine Ointment has been my friend since day one when my baby has arrived. I use it for her diaper rash problems. It soothes her and I can see the healing result in just a short period of time.

Calmoseptine Ointment offers various prices depending on the amount of Calmoseptine Ointment. The cheapest price is only P40. It contains antiseptic chemicals that can kill and prevent bacteria or fungi from coming back into skins.

I highly recommend Calmoseptine Ointment to be a part of our first-aid kid. It is very handy and useful in so many ways.

Dysmenorrhea

Dysmenorrhea

This dysmenorrhea illness is common for women during menstrual period. Dysmenorrhea is defined as a difficult menstrual flow or painful menstruation, a menstrual uterine contractions. It felt like being punished. Cramps and pains on my lower abdomen, dizziness, headaches, backaches, feeling exhausted and grumpy.

From my research, I learned that women who suffer from dysmenorrhea might be depressed, under stress, on a diet trying to lose weight, not having fish in a diet, drinking alcohol and a smoker. Whoa, I almost have all the factors drawing to dysmenorrhea. Now I know why I always have a dysmenorrhea whenever I am having my menstrual period.

Midol is my friend during my dysmennorhea. Midol (Generic name: Acetaminophen, Class: Analgesic + analgesic adjunct + sedating antihistamine). And a massage with chamomile oil to my back and lower abdomen.

Davao People’s Park

Davao People’s Park

We went to Davao to attend the 2nd birthday party of my little niece Colyn and stayed for couple of days. One of the places we’ve been is the famous Davao People’ Park. I’ve been there like a lot of times, but this time is different I’m with my Gabi. It was 6am when we got there, a lot of people in to physical fitness, some jogs, walk or just sit by and enjoying the view.

The sculptured Mandaya People in Davao People’s Park portraying the idea on aiming high while touching the ground, I’m not sure if everybody thinks of it that way as I do and yeah deep thinking.

It was all mixed up to amuse people from any walks of life. There’s this cartoon characters like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a place intended for kids. I got curious why Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang were painted on the Comfort Room Area. My Gabi love Mickey Mouse and the hotdog song so even if I tried to put her attention away, she’d whine and still point on those Mickey Mouse Club paints, I had no choice but take her there.

The best part in Davao People’s Park is the bird feeding place. She had fun chasing those birds while being fed by strangers.

Too bad we weren’t there for the night show. They failed to witness the dancing fountain.

See my Gabi’s Video Chasing Birds.
